How it works

From PDF to a book that talks back

Four steps stand between you and a conversation with your favorite book.

01

Upload your book

Bring any PDF — a novel, a textbook, a report. BookDwar stores it safely in your private library and pulls out a clean reading copy.

02

We read it for you

The book is split into passages and indexed with AI embeddings, so every page becomes searchable by meaning — not just keywords.

03

Start a conversation

Open the book and tap the mic. A natural voice companion answers questions, explains ideas, and quotes real passages back to you.

04

Wander its pages

Ask for summaries, characters, arguments, or themes. Spoiler-aware by default — it asks how far you've read before revealing the ending.

Good to know

What files can I upload?
PDF books up to 50MB. Cover images (JPG, PNG, WebP) are optional — add one to make your shelf look beautiful.
Does it actually know my book?
Yes. Answers are grounded in the book itself: the assistant searches the indexed passages mid-conversation and reads from what it finds.
Can I choose the voice?
Pick from several natural male and female voices before each session. Conversations stream live with a written transcript alongside.
